What an incredible weekend!I’m truly honored to have been selected to participate in the Certamen Internacional de Pintura Ciudad de Hellín among so many talented painters from different places.
The contest took place at the MUSS (Museo de Semana Santa de Hellín) — a stunning space that felt alive with creativity. Every corner of the museum was filled with color, energy, and artistic curiosity. The atmosphere was both exciting and serene — a reminder of how art connects people beyond words.
Being part of this event was much more than just showing a painting. It was about sharing a moment in time with others who understand the same passion — the long hours in the studio, the doubts, the joy of discovery, and the thrill of seeing your work in a new light.
I came home with my heart full of gratitude and inspiration.Meeting so many incredible artists, learning from their approaches, and seeing the diversity of styles and ideas was a truly enriching experience.
The organization and museum staff were wonderful — professional, kind, and always supportive. Everything was beautifully arranged, allowing us to focus on what we love most: painting and connecting through art.

Art contests like this one remind me why I paint — not for prizes or recognition, but for the conversations that art opens. Each brushstroke becomes part of a much larger story shared by everyone who creates.
I’m already looking forward to the next experience — and to keeping that spark of creative dialogue alive.
