There’s a quiet moment in nature—when the sun kisses the edge of a field, and the breeze stirs petals just enough to make you pause. That feeling, that stillness wrapped in wonder, is exactly what I wanted to capture in Reverie IX.

This latest piece is part of my Reverie series, where I explore the delicate line between memory and dream through texture and color. Painted entirely with palette knives, Reverie IX brings together creamy whites, soft greens, golden ochres, and a whisper of lilac to evoke a blooming wildflower field under spring light.

A Closer Look at the Process

I always start with a color palette inspired by nature, often drawn from walks or fleeting scenes I’ve photographed. For Reverie IX, I layered thick acrylic paint to create a rich impasto texture—inviting both light and shadow to dance across the surface.
