Celestial Bloom VII: Where Blue Becomes Rose

Every painting in the Celestial Bloom series starts the same way: with color, not composition. I don't sketch these pieces — I build them, layer by layer, letting one shade dissolve into the next until something emotional emerges rather than something planned.
"Celestial Bloom VII" is the seventh piece in that ongoing exploration. It began as a study in blue — cool, restless, almost sky-like — and slowly gave way to rose and soft violet, the way a feeling shifts before you can name it.
Watching a piece come together is very different from seeing it finished. This is what it looked like in the studio — the layering, the mixing, the moments of stepping back to decide what comes next.
The surface holds texture in places where the paint was pushed, scraped, and layered again, so the piece changes depending on the light and the angle you view it from.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind acrylic painting on canvas, 80 x 100 cm, ready to hang. Like every piece in this series, once it finds its home, it won't be reproduced — what you see is the only version that will ever exist.
