Watch a Meadow Bloom From Nothing But Color | Painting Process
This piece started as a pine forest opening onto an empty golden field, and somewhere along the way, that field grew a meadow of its own, and a tiny figure walking one of several paths crossing through it.
Mixed media on canvas, 100x130cm. No sketch, no fixed plan, I build these in layers, letting one color decide what the next one needs to be. You can still see the paths crossing the field if you look closely and just one small figure choosing where to walk. This piece doesn't have a title yet.
