Tree of Silence is a very special piece for me. It reflects my memories of Colorado, riding through aspen forests where the only sound was the rustling of leaves in the wind. Now isincluded in the group exhibition in the National Painting Prize of Quintanar de la Orden 2025 (Spain).

There’s a certain stillness in the studio when a painting’s journey is about to continue beyond its walls.
In this post, I share a short video showing the preparation of “Tree of Silence” for the art prize. From gently removing it from its place on my studio wall, to carefully adding the hangers in the garden, and finally packing it for its voyage, every step feels like a quiet conversation between artist and artwork.
This piece has been a reflection on silence, growth, and resilience — and now it’s ready to resonate in a new space.
