Painting Stubble Fields | Layering Texture & Light in the Garden

Join me in the garden as I paint Stubble Fields, a mixed media work inspired by the quiet poetry of harvested land — stripped, golden, and open to light.
This video shows a time-lapse of the painting process: layer after layer, marks, glazes, and textures built slowly under the open sky. There's something about working outdoors that brings a different kind of breath to the painting.
At the end, a simple reward — lemonade in the sun. Then you'll see close-ups of the final textures and how Stubble Fields looks on the wall, grounded and glowing.
Thanks for watching, and let me know in the comments: do you also love painting outside?
